What we love about American retailer Target is all the creative collaborations they roll out in partnership with various designers, from the cheery Lilly Pulitzer for Target collection which sold out like hot cakes to the recent WhoWhatWear collab that had us wanting to dress up to the nines like street style regulars.
This time around, Target has collaborated with Marimekko, the world-recognized design house from Finland to come up with a one-of-a-kind collection spanning multiple categories including women’s and girls’ apparel, swimwear, accessories, outdoor decor, furniture and more! The Marimekko for Target collection drops April 17 in stores and online, and here’s why you need to ShopandBox items from this collab when the time comes:
Famous for its original prints and colours, Marimekko was founded in 1951 by Armi Raita and is known for its unconventional, vivid designs that have revolutionized the tradition of textile printing and clothing in Finland.
