What You Can Get With £100 From A Pharmacy in UK

A new week calls for a new drugstore budget haul! Fresh off our European pharmacy shopping spree, we veer north to United Kingdom this time around with the help of Boxer Yvonne to check out two of the nation’s most popular pharmacies, Boots and Superdrug.

Similar to Ulta and Walgreens in the USA, these two pharmacies are great options to shop for your makeup and skincare needs from because of its range of online deals such as buy-1-get-half-off and 3-for-2 offers—both beauty and even kids products. If you’re a fan of Soap&Glory, Max Factor, Bourjois, and Rimmel, you know where to go!

Interested in finding out what you can get? Take a look at what you can get with £100 from a pharmacy in UK below, as Boxer Yvonne shares her must-haves with us in this guest post:

Soap&Glory: This sassy brand will draw you in with its (slightly) gimmicky packaging, but don’t let the packaging fool you! S&G makeup products are one of my top drugstore must-haves, as witnessed below:

S-and-G

One Heck of A Blot Powder, GBP12, + Add To Wishlist: This powder is AMAZING. It does what it says–which is blotting the heck out of your oily face! This pressed powder is so finely milled and it doesn’t cake your face up during your much needed oily T zone touch ups! I have personally gone through 3 of these already and the current one has already hit pan, so it means that I need to get a new one!

Archery Brow Tint and Precison Shaping Pencil, GBP10, + Add To Wishlist: Recently they came out with 3 different other of brow products (depending if you would like what on the ends of the brow stick: brow gel, spoolie, pencil, liquid). I swear by this pencil and I have gone through probably 7 of this already. I think for the price you pay, it is worth every single penny! It is just absolutely the easiest and the best eyebrow product I’ve ever used and I will continue to do so until I find something better, which I highly doubt I would.

Glow All Out Luminizing Powder, GBP11, + Add To Wishlist: If you are looking for a bomb highlighter from the drugstore, look no further because they are absolutely shining! It’s extremely pretty and I would say that this is even better than my Burberry highlighter.

Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Plumping Gloss, GBP9, + Add To Wishlist: Sassy name but amazing quality! All of this line’s lip products are moisturising and long-lasting. Their shine lacquer isn’t sticky and has an intense colour pay off.

Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lip, GBP3.5, + Add To Wishlist: This is another product from that line that has an amazing velvety finish. For a matte lipstick, it’s pretty smooth and easy to apply, and it doesn’t give a drying effect either.

Rimmel

Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eyeliner, GBP2.99, + Add To Wishlist: Rimmel’s kohl eyeliner is great for smudging, so if you’re looking for a waterproof eyeliner, this isn’t for you. I use it to blend along my lid for a lightly-smudged look, and its formula glides on very easily as well.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeliner, GBP3.99, + Add To Wishlist: This gel formula eyeliner is easy and creamy to use. It glides on easily and gives a good colour pay off even with their vibrant quirky shades! Their nude shade is perfect for the waterline to make your eyes look bigger without being too unnatural like most recommended white eyeliners.

Eylure Brow Amplifier N 20 Mid Brown, GBP9.95, + Add To Wishlist: To tame or shape messy brows nicely, this brow gel’s long-lasting formula is perfect for all-day wear.

Sleek

Sleek I Divine Eyeshadow Makeup Palette, GBP7.99, + Add To Wishlist: Six buttery, pigmented, soft shades all in one palette for only GBP7.99! They have many different palettes available and their range is pretty wide in the colour department so it is worth having a try.

Collection

Collection Lasting Perfect Concealer, GBP4.19, + Add To Wishlist: Cult product in the beauty world especially with the British YouTubers! It’s so cheap, you don’t even need to think twice about it. Highly pigmented and covers even the most stubborn spots or even hickeys. 😉

Sleek-11

Sleek Blush By 3 Palette, GBP9.99, + Add To Wishlist: Trio set of blushes in a palette that you need to try! It is really pigmented and especially the Lemonade range have similar dupes to NARS blushers, even the Orgasm one.

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder, GBP7.99, + Add To Wishlist: A bronzer that looks and smells (but not taste!) like a chocolate bar! Worth a try if you’re trying to up your bronzing game.

Max Factor Crème Puff Blush, GBP8.99, + Add To Wishlist: Marbled design of the blusher gives you the most radiant cheeks ever! It is really beautiful and a dream to apply on and it gives me the nicest flush to the cheeks like I’ve been out in the cold.

John-Frieda

John Frieda 7 Day Volume Shampoo 50ml, GBP5.99, + Add To Wishlist: A good volumising shampoo for fine hair and also if your hair is damaged from daily styling/heat stressors. The scent is a perk as well!

John Frieda Beach Blonde Smooth Seas Detangling Conditioner, GBP5.99, + Add To Wishlist: Contrary to what it says, this conditioner doesn’t only work on blondes – it also works as well on brunettes! The texture is quite lightweight and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. Perfect for a windblown look.

John Frieda Cool Dip Purifying Shampoo, GBP5.89, + Add To Wishlist: Before you apply the above mentioned conditioner, try this minty-cool shampoo for a refreshing kick. I personally love using this when it’s hot outside during summer, for obvious reasons.

Zoella

Zoella Blissful Mistful Solid Fragrance, GBP5, + Add To Wishlist: I actually have this solid fragrance in my purse – it’s great on days when I’m out and about and need a slight swipe of scent. The good thing about this is that it doesn’t run out as fast as sample-size perfume bottles.

Zoella Kissy Missy Lip Balm, GBP3, + Add To Wishlist: Whether you’re a fan of British Youtuber Zoella or otherwise, this super cute Kissy Missy lip balm is seriously one to get in your beauty kit. Major points go to its berry flavour and subtle tint of colour.

Ted-Baker

Ted Baker Lip Balm, GBP12, + Add To Wishlist: The scent of this lip balm is undeniably hard to resist – it has a combination of grapefruit, mango and mandarin and also a light floral hint. Even if you aren’t looking to splurge on this for yourself, this would make a great gift, and it also comes in a pack of three.

MUA

MUA Paint Box Multishade Lip Palette, GBP4, + Add To Wishlist: Ever had one of those days when you’re out and realise you only have that one lipstick colour that doesn’t quite suit your outfit? This lip palette is awesome to have on days as such. I love that it has both matte and glossy lip colours plus two lip brushes if you need a range of choices to touch up your lips.

Patisserie

Patisserie De Bain Sugared Violet Hand Cream, GBP3.99, + Add To Wishlist: For a hand cream that has a pretty lasting violet scent that’s also quick-absorbing, Patisserie’s hand cream scores in my books, and it doesn’t come with a hefty price tag too. Also love the French-inspired packaging that isn’t too try-hard.

Kinder-BonBons

Kinder ChocoBons, GBP3.99, + Add To Wishlist: What’s better than a pack of Kinder Buenos? Hands down, a bag of of Kinder ChocoBons! Pretty much snack-sized hazelnut wonder bites that you can bring along everywhere you go – even better for days when you’re craving chocolate or a sweet snack.
