(2) Repackaging
Apart from helping you out with your shopping, another role our Boxers play is to repackage all your goodies for free. Repackaging means checking your items, removing any bulky packaging and repacking everything so that you get most value out of your international shipping cost. The reason we always recommend consolidating is so that you Shoppers will save money on shipping, as opposed to getting your items shipped individually.
For example:
This 1 kg box for one of Boxer Yan’s Shoppers come with a delectable range of 14 products, such as:
- Two pairs of socks
- A pair of Nike shoes
- Eight makeup items from Colourpop, YSL, MAC, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Maybelline
- Three Mason jar candles from Bath & Body Works.
The shoes weigh about 600g, so if you had planned to only ShopandBox a pair of Nike shoes, you’d have to pay for a 1 kg parcel as our DHL rates increase for every 500g.
In short, you will get 400g extra space at no extra cost, since you already will be paying for a 1kg parcel anyway. This means that you can do what the Shopper above has done: shop for more goodies for yourself or your family without forking money for additional shipping fees!
