New Tech Features on ShopandBox to Help You Shop Smarter

When it comes to tech updates, we’re always excited to introduce new features that can make you ShopandBox effortlessly. This time around, we’re rolling out three new features on our website and app that will provide you a seamless virtual shopping experience. Read on to find out more — or holler out to your current Boxer lest you have any questions at all!

1) Upload pictures and videos into an item gallery

 

Got an item you’ve been eyeing but can’t find a proper image to show your Boxer? You can now upload images of items into the ‘Image Gallery’ section before you submit your order. This feature that is next to your Item List is useful if you check any of these below:

• You want to ShopandBox limited edition items that you can’t source online, but have at hand.
• You spotted the item on Instagram and Snapchat and only have a screenshot of it.
• You want to show your Boxer more details about the specific item you want, but find it hard to describe in words.
• The label of the product (that you have already but would like to replenish) is worn and you forgot the exact name/shade/model number.

Alternatively, you can also add videos into the gallery for your Boxer to get a better look. You can use this feature when you’ve logged into your ShopandBox account, and before you pay for your order. Once you have submitted payment, your Boxer is the only one who can upload images.

 

2) Weigh your package with the ShopandWeigh indicator

This one is exceptionally useful for Shoppers who love to consolidate items to make use of your international shipping. If you always find yourself asking your Boxer how much more space/weight do you have in your parcel, you can now do the math on your own with our new ShopandWeigh indicator. Here’s how you can utilise it:

• Go to the Rates page on ShopandBox, and scroll down to the area below the ShopandBox Calculator.
• Pick the “Category”, “Sub-Category” and “Brand” of the item you are looking to estimate.
• Alternatively, enter the name of the item under the “Search” bar if you can’t find the item under the above areas.
• Remember to hit “Reset” before searching for the next item you have on your list.

3) Get Shopping Inspiration From Other Shoppers Across the Globe

You already know how to get inspiration from your Boxer’s country, but have you ever wondered what’s on the wishlists of fellow Shoppers from across the world? Easy peasy—our Get Inspired page now has a “Shopper Country” category for you to sneak a peek into their virtual shopping orders and wishlists.

Here’s how it works:

• If you are a Singapore-based Shopper who wants to ShopandBox from USA, check out what are some of the items are popular with Shoppers from USA via the “Boxer Country” category.
• But if you’re curious to find out what fellow Singaporean Shoppers are filling their orders with, just pick “Singapore” under the “Shopper Country” category.
• Whether it’s Birchbox beauty boxes in USA, Puma kicks from Korea or trading cards from Japan, you can now be in the loop on what’s trending with your fellow country Shoppers.

2. You can add as many items as you want into your wishlist.
3. Simply select the items you want bought, name your order, and hit the “Submit Order” button.
